I've been working on other stuff, too. But this is by far the funnest thing EVER.
Half the fun is picking the next color. Seriously. This would not be nearly as fun if I didn't have 30+ different colors to work with.I try to average 3 colors a day on the weekends, and at least half a row at each session.
It's been compared to Joseph's Technicolor Coat.
My mom put dibs on it "if [I'm] going to give it away." Psh...
And I got one of my friends into it. Got her a whole bag of yarn, a crochet book, and my copy of 200 Ripple Stitches. She's so totally hooked. Pun intended.
I have a sock, but I can't show you. Sorry! You'll see the FO photos when I'm done, though, definitely.
Happy Tuesday!

i don't care how great your blankie's (and everyone else's in blog world) looking, i'm not going to be sucked in to starting one - even though i bought a bunch of crochet hooks on closeout at ben franklin and have the 200 ripple stitch patterns book by my knitting chair......
Yay, ripple blankie! It's looking really great.
That blanket is an heirloom in the making. I should know. My Lola made each of us 8 grandkids identical ones in the same manner! Yours looks AWESOME!
=:8
No, really. I need one. (like, yesterday.)
Wow that's progress. Seriously, do you have enough colors? (wink)
It's adorable. How big is it now?
I think I'm joining your mom and friend on the "I want a ripple blanket" bandwagon. Except I still have to learn how to crochet first. Err...
Me likey!
When you get enough PTO you better getcher butt over to Cali so we can go yarn store hopping! Hey, not like we NEED any more stash, but if you come over for vacation purposes and we 'windowshop' then we can blame each other for whatever purchases are made!
That blanket rocks hard!
It is so fun to look at too! Great work. Love it.
Oooh look at all the pretty colors!!! :)
What beautiful colours. It's just gorgeous. :-)
I just love your blanket - and appreciated your comment over at my blog! I have 4 ripples just about done. Slow going for me. You mentioned to have a good crochet needle...do you have any suggestions?:)
holy cow- the colors rock! they look like they could cheer you up in a snap if you had a bad day.
